Hannah Bailey grew up on the Quantock Hills, Somerset before moving to Brighton to take a degree in Illustration. After graduating, she was drawn back to the South West and made herself at home in Bristol.
Her work is often peppered with wordplays and inspired by wildlife, flora, fauna and history. She loves to draw maps of gardens and outdoor spaces, some informative and some imagined.
Hannah creates shapes and textures using stencils and cut-outs, adding detail in layers. Often using areas of black and white alongside bright, dynamic colour palettes she captures the greenery and life of the subject.
We love showcasing the work of designers, if you'd like us to feature your work please contact the blogging team.
