Take some time to read the brief and fully understand what it is we're looking for. Think about the key words or phrases, the genre and who the customer is.
When you are designing your character, think about the scale and composition, how are your characters interacting with their surroundings? Will the Marks and Spencer customer understand your character? Is it commercial? Is your colour palette on trend? Does your character come under the female / male or love genre? What media are you using and how can you use it in way to capture movement or texture? Lots of things to consider.
Visit Marks and Spencer online or one of their many stores to discover what's already in our range. Remember we are always on the look out for new styles so think about your handwriting and how it can be applied.
