Last month Tigerprint set you a festive brief to capture the magic of Christmas.
We focussed on photography and you've shown us lots of different styles and view points.
This month our winning entry (see above) has been created by Azalea Dalton.
The judges were all drawn to Azalea's dramatic and angular composition. There's a real sense of scale in the image and she's capture a wonderful winter wonderland scene.
Congratulations Azalea and we look forward to working with your design.
In addition, our judges selected 4 runners up (in no particular order).
The judges loved Ellen's pretty Christmas floral image. The concept looks really fresh and original. The colours are vibrant and give you a sense of a tropical holiday.
The judges liked the dramatic feel of James's image. The lights look really striking against the black back drop and it outlines the scale of the tree. We felt the image would work better without the font.
The judges felt Mandy's photograph looked very contemporary and festive. She's styled her Christmas foliage beautifully and it's an interesting way to create a wreath.
The judges are always looking at different ways to generate typography. Rachel's image shows off her skill for capturing a great font. We felt that the letters could work really well with a special finish such as foil to really make the letters sparkle.
Congratulations to Azalea, Ellen, James, Mandy and Rachel.
A very big thank you to everyone who entered the competition.
The current competition, Floral Surface Pattern is open for entries.
Have a great day!
